Col's Jump for Sjögren's!

Colette Batkins

Colette Batkins has had Sjögren’s Syndrome for 50 years and she has decided that throwing herself out of an airplane to raise money for the BSSA is a good idea!

On Saturday 25th August, Colette will take on the challenge of jumping out of an airplane, which she thought would be easier than a marathon! She said “I thought it was a good idea, although when I’m over 10,000 feet and hurtling to the ground at 120mph with only a piece of cloth between me and death (well if you don’t count the expert to pull the cord – I can’t rely on me to remember as Sjögren’s also affects my memory), I might just change my mind!”.

Colette has promised that if she emerges unscathed, she will report back after the event!
