Because my Mum is Ace!
James took part in the London Duathlon in aid of the BSSA because: "My Mum suffers from Sjogren's Syndrome and yet she continues to be Ace! She is constantly positive and does not let it rule her life; go Mum!"
The London Duathlon is a running and cycling race in Richmond Park, Putney. The course started with a 10km run, transitions to a 20km cycle before transitioning back to an additional 5km run. Unlike a classic Triathlon there is no swimming component, so like Sjogren's Syndrome... this race had a distinct lack of water!
