BSSA RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FUND

The BSSA Research and Education Fund allows us to award a grant of up to £10,000 a year to a suitable project researching into the causes and/or treatment of Sjögren's Syndrome. We are keen to see developments in these areas to help improve the diagnosis process and aftercare for patients, which may one day help to contribute towards a cure for this debilitating condition.

Since establishing the Research and Education Fund in 1999, we have been delighted to help fund projects researching into MRI scanning in Sjögren's Syndrome, the clinical assessment of the condition and diagnostic blood tests and we are pleased that the results of some of this research have been publicised in various medical journals.
