RESEARCH
The BSSA supports research into the causes and/or treatment of Sjögren’s Syndrome, we offer an annual research grant were the applicants have to follow clear criteria and then each application is reviewed by a medical panel that have an interest in Sjögren’s Syndrome. The procedure has been approved by the AMRC.
As well as the Medical Research Grant we also offer a smaller Undergraduate Research Prize, hoping it will encourage young medic’s interest in Sjögren’s.
