The BSSA supports research into the causes and/or treatment of Sjögren’s Syndrome, we offer an annual research grant were the applicants have to follow clear criteria and then each application is reviewed by a medical panel that have an interest in Sjögren’s Syndrome. The procedure has been approved by the AMRC.

Dr Tappuni, Associate Specialist in Oral Medicine at Guy’s Hospital is looking for patients diagnosed with Sjögren’s Syndrome to take part in an investigation looking into the effectiveness of two mouth sprays in the relief of dry mouth.
